Nepal has the people of different religions whereas majority of peoples here are Hindus. There are different festivals which are celebrated in a grand way. The festival differs according to the different religions. The most important festivals celebrated are Dashain, Tihar, Lhosar, Buddha Jayanti etc.

Nepal is a agricultural country. More than 80% of the people are involved in farming for their livelihood. There are four major seasons in Nepal. They are
  • Winter (December to February)
  • Spring(March to May)
  • Summer(June to August)
  • Autumn(September to November)

Nepal has the area of 147,181 square kilometers. This country includes the eight of the highest peaks. The climate varies from place to place. The Terai region has the hot climate, hilly region has the moderate climate whereas Himalayan region has comparatively cold climate.
